Sophia Farms was established to support Sophia Theological Seminary. The interrelationship between Sophia Farms and Sophia Theological Seminary intends to surmount the challenges of financial sustainability in higher education. As income from farm operations will progressively increases, Sophia Farms will produce sufficient income to sustain the operations of the Seminary (as well as the Farms).

During this time, we do need your financial support to assist with the Farms’ operating costs and to enable capital expenditures to renovate and build educational and housing facilities. You can also partner with Sophia by purchasing a share in Sophia’s Pantry CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) for donation to our Richmond and Dinwiddie partners working directly with people experiencing food insecurity.

We practice the principles of regenerative agriculture and enter into partnerships that demonstrate our commitment to God, to the Church, to the broader community, and to one another.
